Spearhead’s Michael Franti once again led the 7th annual 911 Power To The Peaceful concert and gathering in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park today.
Over 50,000 people gathered in a suprisingly beautiful fog free day to the creation of a world that works for everyone.
Amidst the bleak news, the power is growing, people connecting. Moveon.org.com organized a nationwide effort of people willing to house hurricane evacuees in their own homes and apartments. So far over 200,000 spaces have been offered.
That’s something that doesn’t make the news. And that’s something that is about a world where there is no you or I, just us.
